Glific’s Chatbot Accelerator Program is back in 2025 with its 4th cohort of 17 remarkable nonprofits working across education, health, agriculture, livelihoods, climate action, gender justice, and more. These organizations are leveraging the power of WhatsApp chatbots to reimagine how they serve communities, communicate with stakeholders, and scale impact.
Through mentorship, peer learning, and ecosystem collaborations, the cohort is set to redefine how technology and grassroots innovation intersect.
Here’s a glimpse of the 2025 cohort and the chatbot use cases they’re working on:
1. Eklavya India Foundation
Sector: Higher Education Access
Use Case: Career exploration and guidance chatbot for first-generation learners from marginalised communities to discover higher education opportunities and pathways.
2. Shohratgarh Environmental Society
SPARSH (Women’s Livelihood Chatbot)
Sector: Gender Empowerment
Use Case: Confidential support bot for women facing domestic violence, offering pathways to livelihood, emotional support, and mentorship while avoiding crisis-reporting stigma.
3. Manav Vikas Sansthan
Sector: Agriculture, Climate Action
Use Case: A multilingual chatbot for agroforestry farmers providing information on regenerative practices and connecting them with experts.
4. ArtSparks Foundation
Sector: Arts in Education
Use Case: ArtsBridge chatbot for teachers to access skill-based art activities by age group, collect feedback, and upload student work.
5. Adhyayan Quality Education Foundation (AQEF)
Sector: Education Quality & Leadership
Use Case: Moodle-integrated chatbot for 24/7 tech and user support on the Abhyaas platform, helping school leaders and government stakeholders navigate the portal.
6. Youth Conservation Action Network (YouCAN)
Sector: Environment & Youth Engagement
Use Case: An interactive chatbot for fellowship application that gamifies and personalizes the journey, collecting responses to assess applicant fit.
7. WELL Labs (Water, Environment, Land, Livelihoods)
Sector: Rural Livelihoods & Climate Tech
Use Case: Chatbot for farmers to access playbooks and connect with solution providers under the Green Rural Economy initiative.
8. The Association of People with Disability (APD)
Sector: Disability Inclusion
Use Case: Awareness bot for PwDs to understand government social security schemes, with simplified information and direct staff connect.
9. VigyanShaala
Sector: STEM Education
Use Case: Career exploration chatbot helping undergrad students in STEM discover jobs, skilling pathways, and higher education opportunities.
10. Durga India
Sector: Gender Safety
Use Case: Bystander training bot to educate public-facing workers (police, vendors, drivers) on intervening safely in instances of sexual harassment.
11. Nature Conservation Foundation
Sector: Early Nature Education
Use Case: Kannada-language FAQ bot for master trainers and librarians supporting a bird-focused nature course across Karnataka’s Gram Panchayats.
12. Plexus India Foundation
Sector: Trans & GSM Livelihoods
Use Case: QTBharath chatbot to onboard users from the trans and gender-diverse community and connect them with resources, training, and community.
13. Vidyun For Learning Foundation
Sector: Literacy & Learning
Use Case: Literacy chatbot offering personalized quizzes and feedback to young learners at their Ahmedabad-based center.
14. Janaagraha
Sector: Governance & Urban Finance
Use Case: WhatsApp delivery of key urban finance insights and updates to keep government users engaged beyond the portal.
15. Shiv Nadar Foundation (SHIKSHA Initiative)
Sector: ICT-based Literacy
Use Case: Support bot for field mentors and volunteers troubleshooting tech issues and guiding app use in rural schools and adult literacy centers.
16. Bindi International Association
Sector: Rural Women’s Health
Use Case: SRHR awareness chatbot offering private, 24/7 information and prompts on sexual and reproductive health for rural women.
17. Rebuild India Fund (Dasra)
Sector: Ecosystem Development & MLE
Use Case: Survey chatbot to capture real-time field data from 10–15 grassroots NGOs in Tamil Nadu and Odisha for MLE tracking.
