Bugs Fixed:
1) A more reliable login experience: We worked on resolving issues that were causing confusion for users while logging in to or creating a Glific account.
Highlights:
- Added clear instructions on the login and account creation pages ( added screenshots below ) to guide users to use their personal WhatsApp number for logging in or creating an account, and not their chatbot’s WhatsApp number. This helps reduce confusion about which number should be used during the sign-up and login process.
2) More reliable messaging, AI, and data management:We fixed several issues that were affecting message delivery, AI assistant setup, translations, and data integrations.
Highlights:
- Fixed an issue where incoming WhatsApp messages with very long media captions could fail to reach Glific. These messages are now received and processed correctly.
- Fixed an issue where copying (cloning) an AI assistant could fail if it contained unsupported files. The assistant can now be cloned successfully without the entire process failing.
- Fixed an issue where translation failures were not being shown. If a translation fails, you’ll now see the error, making it easier to identify and fix the problem.
Enhancement Done:
1) Managing multiple WhatsApp numbers and groups from Glific: Organisations using multiple WhatsApp numbers can now manage their WhatsApp groups directly from Glific instead of relying on the provider’s console.
Highlights:
- Added the ability to create and manage WhatsApp groups from Glific, including adding or removing contacts and viewing member counts.
- Added a bulk action to set the primary phone number for an entire collection of WhatsApp groups at once.
- Added the ability to reconnect a disconnected WhatsApp number from within Glific, without needing the provider’s console.
- Added a phone status dashboard that alerts teams when a number disconnects or is suspended. We have detailed documentation on this please do read it here.
2) Easier HSM Template : Creating, translating, and tracking WhatsApp message templates got quicker and less manual..Please do give it a read here.
Highlights:
- Template approval and rejection status now updates in real-time instead of waiting up to 24 hours for the next sync.
- Added one-click auto-translate when adding a new language version of a template.
- Template titles are now generated automatically instead of requiring manual entry.
- Added a live WhatsApp preview and instant Template ID availability check when creating a template.
