Bugs Fixed:
1) The Wait for Response node which was auto-populated was missing translations
The ‘Wait for Response’ node, which is automatically created after adding an interactive message, was not auto-populating the button options for translations. As a result, users had to manually add the translations for other languages in the ‘Wait for Response’ node.
This issue has now been fixed, and the auto-created Wait for Response node will automatically include the button options in the respective language boxes, you won’t have to manually enter it each time.
New Feature /Enhancements Done:
1) RAG using OpenAI file search assistant : New Feature
Our NGOs used to send us prompts and files to upload them on the OpenAI playground in order to get the assistant ID.
To make this process more user-friendly and efficient, we have now integrated this feature directly into Glific. NGOs can now simply upload their documents and system prompts to quickly obtain the assistant ID.
For more details, please refer to the documentation here
2) WA Groups: Record read receipts of messages:
We want our NGO to be able to query data or link to dashboards in order to answer the question: How many contacts in a particular group have read the specific message sent from the Maytapi-linked phone number?
To address this, we implemented a solution in our backend to capture read receipts for messages sent, allowing us to track when a message is read.
3) Added Unpin Option to Flow Listing Page
We provide an option to pin a flow so it appears at the top of the flow listing page.
To unpin it, you previously had to click ‘Edit’ and uncheck the pin box.
To simplify this, we have added a Pin and Unpin button directly on the flow listing page, so you can easily unpin a flow by clicking the pin icon.
4) HSM Template Missing Due to Failed Category: Raised By INREM and few more NGOs
Whenever a template message was created but not approved or got stuck, it didn’t appear in the rejected’ section in Glific.
Upon investigation, we found that these template messages had moved to the ‘failed’ category. However, since Glific only displayed approved, rejected, and pending categories, NGOs couldn’t see the failed template messages.
To resolve this, we added a failed category to the platform, displaying failed templates along with the reason, similar to how rejected templates are shown.
