Project Tech4dev team was scheduled to have its quarterly in Bangalore. This meant that the early morning walks would be around the now fabled lakes of the garden city with steaming filter coffee from the breakfast joints to look forward to as a reward for catching the sunrise.

What we wanted to achieve as a team

  1. Quarterly product review of Glific platform with Project Tech4Dev team
  2. Reflect on the highlights and lowlights and see what we want to pick up moving forward
  3. Define the overall product goals for Glific for the upcoming year.
  4. Define the priorities for the upcoming quarter from
    1. Sales and Marketing lens
    2. Product roadmap lens

What we were able to achieve

  1. Decision on the sales campaign to be conducted for the upcoming year, so as to ensure we meet the Sales target of the next year.
  2. Arrive at the features we want to focus on for the next phase of development of LLM repo (llm4dev, tentatively) to support the organizations like Udhyam, SNEHA and so on
  3. Have a long list of ideas (wish list of sorts) for llm4dev repo, this repo is being envisioned as a solution for dev sector orgs to deploy llm powered products and services at scale.
  4. We faced issues for getting payments from the NGOs as we closed the year, there were orgs who stopped using the platform and did not pay. This has prompted us to re-look at the billing process. (Reduce the charges on suspension, potentially increase the charges on subscription)
  5. With achieving org sustainability as one of the major focuses of the upcoming year, we decided to focus on delivering better quality of consulting work, and to arrive at a structure for internal sync ups which might help us move towards that output.

What got started and has to continue

  1. Bizdev plan for the upcoming quarter
  2. Marketing plan for the upcoming quarter
  3. Final touches to the Terms and Conditions PRD, this is the solution for us to do away with the long process of back and forth to get the sign off on the SaaS contract with the new onboarding NGOs
  4. Sharing learnings between Glific and Dalgo teams.
  5. Hiring for open roles for sales and consulting verticals
  6. Further study and analysis of the Fractional Product Manager initiative with Quest Alliance, and if any other orgs fit the bill for us to experiment this with.
