As the year comes to a close, it’s a good time to reflect on the progress and accomplishments we at Glific made. It has been a super year so far and we saw growth in all areas and even in directions we haven’t set out to at the beginning of 2022 but going with the flow helped us in growing significantly. For starters, we had some new addition to our team with Ranjhana, Erica, Mahesh, Abhishek Nair, Mohit Gusain and Sneha joining us which helped everyone to push forward in various areas. Mahesh and Ranjhana later parted ways with us

The number of NGOs using Glific has increased to 72, more than double the figure at the end of the last year 2022, which was 32. These NGOs used glific to communicate with their beneficiaries via Whatsapp as part of programs in a variety of domains, including education, agriculture, health, career counseling, civic engagement, employment, and many more.

This year we also hosted 4 sprints in Mumbai, Pune, Dehradun, and Jaipur. Sprints were great opportunities for the team to work together as most of us work from different cities and also it helped us to work closely with our NGO partner and see how they are using Glific and some of the challenges they are facing where we can collaborate. Read more about sprints here

With over 16.8 million messages exchanged and over 498,000 beneficiaries reached, compared to 4.5 million messages exchanged and 87,500+ beneficiaries reached in the previous year, the number of beneficiaries reached rose by almost 5 times and messages exchanged rose by more than 3.5 times

This year we also saw significant growth in consulting work where we collaborated with more than 15 NGOs with their custom requirements. This enabled the NGOs to operate their programs more effectively, reach more beneficiaries, and have a bigger impact. This eventually helped improve Glific as a product where we tried to generalize the majority of the features we built so that other NGOs could use it in their programs as well, in one form or another.

This year’s consulting revenue was about ₹50 lac, which is more than three times what it was the previous year.

Some of our work is covered in these blogs

This year, we added a ton of new functionality to Glific, including support for multiple profiles, speech recognition, A/B testing, map visualisation, and many more. We also added new integration like Google Sheets, Dialogflow’s Natural Language Processing, Exotel for calling, and few others.Checkout complete list here

At last we can say that it has been a successful year for Glific. We have seen strong growth in all areas, and we are excited to see what the future holds. We would like to thank our funders, NGO partners for their support and feedback, and everyone else who helped us improve and fine-tune Glific. As we move into the new year, we remain committed to continuously improving, learning from mistakes, and delivering the best possible experience for everyone. We look forward to another successful year, onwards and upwards
